Wood is very important element speaking of wooden houses. It creates bearing construction of the building. Other elements may be from different materials. During production we mainly use: quality insulating materials, ceramic or concrete roof tiles, steel jointing elements, special foils, tiling, paint etc. Building fundamentals are mainly concrete or brick. Combination of these materials brings great technological features of the building and high quality living. These features have been used abroad (mainly Scandinavia, USA, Canada) for decades.

Many people think that wooden houses have worse features compared with brick houses. E.g. thermal-insulating features, acoustic features, fire safety features or they do not trust lifetime of these buildings. Current trend of energy saving and desire of public to have affordable and quality living show, that wooden houses have a great potential.
There are of course several myths about wooden houses. It is necessary to bear in mind that any building, whether it is made from wood, bricks or steel, needs to fulfill strict building and safety standards.
